The **EnvioXEnvio (ExE) API** allows you to comprehensively manage the quotation and contracting process for transport services for your shipments, both nationally and internationally.

### 📦 Main Features

- **Rates**  
  Create instant rates by indicating origin, destination and cargo characteristics.  
  Query the list of created rates ('GET /rates') or retrieve a specific rate ('GET /rates/{id}').

- **Orders**  
  Create orders from a rate ('POST /orders') or manually with all data.  
  Query all orders or a specific one ('GET /orders', 'GET /orders/{id}').

- **Addresses**  
  Manage reusable addresses for pickup or delivery ('GET', 'POST', 'PUT', 'GET /addresses/{id}').

- **Authentication**  
  All routes require an API key in the header. You can use:
  
  - **Production** environment:
    ```
    x-api-key: YOUR_PRODUCTION_KEY
    ```

  - **Test** environment:
    ```
    test-api-key: YOUR_TEST_KEY
    ```

  > ⚠️ Don't include both in the same request. Use only one.

### 🧪 Test Environment (test mode)

Test mode allows you to test all API functionalities without affecting your real data.  
It uses an independent database and allows creating simulated rates, orders and addresses.

### 🔧 Data that makes up a rate

Rates are defined by:

- **Origin / Destination**: city, postal code, country (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 format).  
- **Loads**: units, dimensions (length, width, height), weight, and if it's removable.  
- **Extras**: side loading, lift platform (pickup and delivery), ADR merchandise, non-transferable shipment...

> ℹ️ From version **1.0.1**, it is **no longer necessary to send** the `shipmentType` and `expressVehicleType` fields. They are calculated automatically based on the loads.
